All I wished is 65″ gets cheaper, but…. Let’s talk about something else.Well timely delivered and prompt installation. I ordered at 6pm, delivered at 10am the day next, and Samsung expert came to wallmount at 1pm. Quick, right? Now pros: Fast boot and quick load, no bleeding effect, contrast ratios are really good. Lots is smart features, works great with Samsung phone using Smart Things, supports Airplay, Ambient mode is ok to have. Remote works well for connected devices too seamless.Cons: the OS is not great, little confusion, the LG webOS will score more, but doable, no option to reduce backlight intensity, no bells and whistles like Dolby Atmos and Vision, unlike cheap brand who offers the same (Dobly certificate has a cost, budget TV offering then looks like fake thing to me), don’t expect full array dimming and all.I had a VU, and no matter how much people gets exited with the price, it’s still a budget one, and the reason I moved away is, those are nothing but cheap Android phone with big screen with questionable hardware and abysmal ram and doubts of future software update and occasional hangs. And we know, they don’t last more than 2 years.Note: This is a Series 8 TV, as people are getting confused. The specs are exactly similar to TU8000.

So after months of research I decided to purchase this Television. I’ll brief you up with my experience.BRAND.I was so confused and was unsure on which brand to trust. The same spec TVs from hisense/VU/Sanyo etc were almost 10-15k cheaper than this TV. I was unsure why these TVs cost so cheap. I went to stores and experienced the difference between a cheap branded TV and TVs from brands like Samsung/Sony. Trust me, the difference is visible! The picture/built quality is so much better in these big brands that you wouldn’t even consider buying those cheap TVs.Samsung Is also giving a 2 year panel warranty, 1 year warranty for everything else.SERIES 8 or SERIES 6 ?I had the same confusion everyone had. The TU8000 series are only available in stores (offline) they are 10-15k more expensive than the TUE60 series ( online/e-commerce only ).I did a lot of research ( the Samsung TV I compared in stores with cheap branded TVs was a TU8000 series) and found out that both these TVs are absolutely the same TVs ! Then why is it so cheap ? The answer is that the TUE60 series are made in India, and TU8000 series are imported. This saves up the import duties, taxes, shipping etc.Yes, on connecting your Bluetooth device, it does show series 6. But I think that’s a glitch as the box and even the Samsung website says it’s series 8.I have seen the TU8000 series live in stores and I do not see any difference between my TV and that. Moreover, even if in worst case it is a series 6 TV, the TV is awesome. So I please do not neglect the TV cause of this doubt.PICTURE QUALITYThis is crystal UHD tv , the picture quality is awesome ! Better than any TV of this price segment. The blacks are Deep ( this is where you can know if they Picture quality is good. If the blacks are dark grey then the experience will definitely be bad, but that’s not the case with this TV) , colours are vibrant. The video is crisp. It supports HDR 10+. I am enjoying playing PS4 pro games. I don’t think the pics i have attached are doing any justice to the actual picture quality. If you are unsure, then visit any store and check out the TU8000 series, it’s the same.SOUNDThis is one of the 2 things where Samsung could’ve have done a better job. I’m not saying that it is bad. It is sufficient for me as I am using this in my room. But I don’t think it’s going to be sufficient if used in living rooms.USER INTERFACEThis is one thing where this TV should improve. The UI is sluggish, responds after few seconds at times. The normal UI where you toggle between the settings, source, etc works fine. But The apps, internet show lag at times. This is the reason why I have given 4 stars instead of 5. I recommend you buy a fire stick for a better experience. Hope Samsung improves these issues in the coming updates.GAMINGI am using a PS4 pro. Works flawlessly, HDR content is amazing. There is no lag what so ever, even at 4K 60fps. I do not play FPS games. I only play Fifa and some story mode games. So those were working absolutely fine. I do not know about any FPS games.BUILT QUALITY/designSturdy built quality, design looks cool. Looks almost as good as a Frame TV From Samsung due to its frame like bezels from side. It also has this “ambient mode” where a wallpaper will be displayed when the TV is not is use.Bezels are very minimal.SUMMARYI was confused whether to buy this TV or not. After experiencing it, I have made the right decision. Got it for 44.5k on prime day sale.I also have a Sony 65 inch KD-65X8000G in my living room, and 2 other Samsung 4K series 7 and a curved TV in other rooms. Comparing to these TVs I have got a very good deal, specially considering the price point my other TVs. Overall I can say that it’s not as good as the Sony TV, but the difference is marginal ( The Sony has separate processors just to improve the picture quality like xreality pro, etc ), while the TV is better than my other Samsung 4K TVs ( as they’re older models ).4/5 stars, one less star cause the smart features of these TV are sluggish. If the the TV is in Stock, please go ahead and buy it as there is no better TV at this price point. The smart features can always be improved by buying a smart device like fire stick sooner or later, but the picture quality can never be improved whatsoever. You might spend more than any other cheaper branded TV but you will not regret it.
